City of Death - £6.49

A wonderful Tom Baker story written by Douglas Adams - what's not to love?  Honestly, I rather think most Who fans probably love this one.
The Doctor (Tom Baker) and Romana (Lalla Ward) visit Paris for a holiday. When the Mona Lisa is stolen, the Doctor comes upon evidence of sinister time experiments being carried out by a wealthy Count, Scarlioni. He soon exposes a plot by Scaroth, the last of the Jagaroth race, to re-write the history of Earth by avoiding the destruction of his space ship - but it was this explosion that led to the formation of life on Earth!  o order, go to:

Pyramids of Mars - £6.49

Ahh, more classic Tom Baker.  Again, I think this story is probably in most Top 5's.  It's one of the early Tom Baker stories - and one of the most loved.  The Fourth Doctor and Sarah- Jane?  Unbeatable.
The future of the cosmos is at stake when the Doctor faces his most fearsome adversary in this four part adventure. Returning to UNIT HQ on Earth, the TARDIS is thrown violently about by a mysterious force and Sarah and the Doctor arrive instead at an old priory in the year 1911. The owner, Marcus Scarman, has been excavating ancient tombs and is possessed by the spirit of Sutekh, bringer of "the gift of death to all mankind". Sutekh has lain for thousands of years in his pyramid prison and Scarman and his robot mummies plan to release this ancient and evil power. Will Sutekh the all-powerful be freed from his bonds and destroy the world, or will the Doctor manage to bring about his destruction?
Originally transmitted 25/10/75 - 15/11/75

Genesis of the Daleks - £6.49

Another must-have story - the first story to feature Davros, it also shows how he "created" the Daleks.  This epic is mostly remembered for Tom Baker's beautifully delivered "do I have the right?" speech.
The Doctor and his companions are transported back in time by the Time Lords who have decided that the Daleks need to be destroyed. The Doctor's mission is to change history so that they have never existed. Soon they are separated and The Doctor and Harry are captured by the evil Elite of the mad scientist Davros, who is working to perfect his Mark 3 travel machine: the Dalek.

Inferno - £6.49

A classic Jon Pertwee story - epic in that it features a parallel universe where Liz Shaw and the Brigadier have "alternates".  Great fun.
20th Century Earth. An unhinged scientist, Professor Stahlman, is attempting the first penetration of the Earth's crust in a top secret drilling project called Inferno. His purpose? To tap into a new energy source at the core. But at what cost? When the Doctor is called in with his companion Liz Shaw to oversee the project, he soon develops grave misgivings. Things begin to go very wrong when a mysterious green substance leaks from the drillhead. A substance which turns all who come into contact with it into alien primeval creatures called Primords.
Meanwhile, the Doctor finds himself transported into a parallel universe identical to 20th Century Earth. The mystery deepens as he finds that although the place, time and people are all the same, no-one seems to know who he is. Only one thing is certain: the drilling must be stopped before the full force of the energy from the core is unleashed, destroying not only this Earth but the one the Doctor has just left behind. Originally transmitted 09/05/70 - 20/06/70.

The Daemons - £7.99

If I had to pick ONE Jon Pertwee story to take to a desert island then this would be it.  The Master, Jo Grant, UNIT - all in one fantastically filmed, written and directed story.  It's pretty much perfect.
In the peaceful village of Devil’s End something very strange is happening. A professor is preparing to open a nearby burial mound and a local white has foresees death and disaster. Meanwhile, the new vicar looks suspiciously like the Master and he is using black magic to conjure up an ancient Dæmon.
Can the Doctor, Jo and UNIT stop their old enemy before he succeeds?
